The e-commerce site www.karendumoulin.com is an online site selling clothes under the KAREN DUMOULIN brand, which belongs to Karen Dumoulin, whose office is located in Brussels (Belgium), Verenigde Producties vzw, Coenraetsstraat 72, 1060 Brussels, VAT BE.0896.755.397.
These general terms and conditions govern all use of www.karendumoulin.com and in particular the product offers on this website.
When you visit this website or buy a product on it, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please note that these terms and conditions may be updated from time to time so we recommend that you read them carefully each time you visit us. Karen Dumoulin does not accept any other terms and conditions unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
1. Privacy
We only collect and process personal data for specific and legitimate purposes. We gather personal data to process orders that a customer places and to complete each sale on this website, for marketing purposes, for customer relationship management and for statistical purposes. If possible, data will be used in anonymous or encrypted format.
2. Product information

We have made every effort to make sure colours and descriptions of our products are as accurate as possible. However, please be aware that the image and colour quality may vary depending on your screen, and that we cannot guarantee that your screen accurately reflects all characteristics of the actual product.
You will find a product description (colour, size, type of product...) and digital photographs with each product. All prices stated in the online-shop are in EURO (€) including 21% Belgian VAT, but exclude delivery costs. Prices may change. Please check the applicable price advertised at the time you place an order.

3. Orders

3.1 Karen Dumoulin only sells its products to consumers. This means that if you are an individual who intends to buy a product not for personal use but, for example, resale, you cannot place an order and we will not sell you our products.

3.2 A binding sale between you as customer and karendumoulin.com as seller, governed by these terms and conditions, is concluded when you place an order on this website. Your order shall be deemed placed when you have completed the final step of the order process.

3.3 By submitting an order, you explicitly agree to be irrevocably bound by these terms and conditions, including all policies and subsections such as the privacy policy and return sections.

3.4 The items displayed on the website reflect the actual availability of the item in terms of colour and size. Once our logistic department processes the order, we reserve the right to re-confirm the availability of the merchandise, to verify the transaction’s validity. Clients will be informed if in any reason the item ordered is not available or if the order cannot be sent in agreement of the client’s request.

3.5 Karen Dumoulin reserves the right to adapt or to cancel an order in case prices or discounts were not displayed correctly on the website or in case they were not stated correctly in the invoice.

4. Payments
​
After you submit your order, you will be referred to the secure payment page of our website and you will be requested to pay for your order. When submitting an order through our website you confirm and guarantee the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct. Payments by card can be made with the cards specified below. By submitting an order you immediately authorizes Karen Dumoulin to charge your debit or credit card with the order payment on submission of your order and implies that you intend to pay Karen Dumoulin if your order is accepted.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to enter and complete your payment details. All compulsory fields will be marked and must be completed. You will not be able to complete your order until these details have been entered.

Karen Dumoulin reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery or fulfil an order placed by a customer who has not partially or fully paid for a previous order or with whom a dispute concerning payment is ongoing.
You will receive an electronic order confirmation on your screen and per e-mail when your payment has been made.

5. In case you want to cancel your order
​
The consumer is entitled to inform the company that he or she wishes to revoke the purchase, without paying a penalty or stating the reasons for doing so within 48 hours after the order was placed and before transit.

6. Delivery and transit costs
​
Products that are in stock will be delivered to the delivery address that you have provided in your online order form. Karen Dumoulin cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
Karen Dumoulin works with the Belgian B-post courier for delivery of your package. All delivery times on this web shop are indication times. Karen Dumoulin cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur.
The package will be send in within 7 working days. The delivery time varies depending on the country of delivering. Belgium 2 to 3 working days, Europe 3 to 6 working days and orders outside Europe 5 to 14 working days.

The shipping costs depend on the customer’s location:
Place of delivery in Brussels: free/pick up in the studio
Place of delivery inside Belgium: 5.00 Euro
Place of delivery inside EU: 15.00 Euro
Place of delivery outside EU: 25.00 Euro

The fees will also vary according to the country of delivering and will be charged to the customer. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and if you refuse the delivery you will still be charged the duties and taxes. Your item will be returned to Karen Dumoulin and you will be directly charged for the unpaid duties and taxes along with the additional shipping costs.
Karen Dumoulin cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of the package, during the transit.

7. Faulty products
​
Our after sale service concerns only the products bought on the e-shop. Items are considered “faulty” if they do not conform to our quality standards which require that goods correspond to their description on the website and be of satisfactory quality. We consider an item of unsatisfactory quality if you find visible and evident damages on the fabric such as stains. If you receive faulty purchased products, you have the right, within 48 hours, to ask for a repair, exchange, reduction in the price or a full or partial refund, according to our judgement. After this deadline, any kind of claims concerning faulty products will be considered as not valid. Please send an email to karen-dumoulin@hotmail.com with images of the item you consider has been delivered faulty.

8. Returns
​
Please note that in case of returns, shipping costs and duties and taxes are at the expense of the customer.
Karen Dumoulin will not be responsible for any loss or damage that occurs in transit and, for this reason, We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. If returned products are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge and reclaim from you the amount related to such loss or damage.

8.1 Conditions to return your order
​
The customer has the right within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the original order to request an exchange or return the goods purchased by writing to us by email at karen-dumoulin@hotmail.com.
The customer must return the goods to be exchanged or refunded, in its/their original condition, within 14 days of the exchange request made via the website.

Each item is unused and bears no sign of wear and tear. The original tags and labels are attached and are in good condition. The article must be properly folded.

Notify us when the package is sent and the refund will be made when the package has reached the office.
Original transit costs will not be refunded.
Please note: if we cannot process your exchange or refund because the above conditions are not met, our customer service team will notify you.
9. Intellectual property

Copyright subsists in all contents and pictures on this website. It is not permitted to use, reproduce or distribute content (images, text...) from this website without the express written consent of Karen Dumoulin.
10. Warranty
Articles delivered by Karen Dumoulin are offered a two-year guarantee. It covers damage caused by a manufacturing default or material defect. Our warranty excludes damage caused by improper use or loss of (an) item(s).
We are offering a repair service for our costumers, in return for a price. The prices depend on the type of repair. For more information or questions about this service please contact us.
